
An Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress, producer and writer. Davis was a professional since 3 years old, and she starred in television advertisements. When she was a young girl she was a regular presenter on Charles In Charge. The show was the top-rated on the ratings for syndication. Josie got nominated three times as well as receiving the prestigious Youth In Film Award to play Sarah Powell. In her adult years and as the actor in many television series, Davis received two Lifetime Movie Network awards. Davis studied acting with Paul E Richards intensively for about twenty years, despite her ability to be enrolled in the prestigious USC Writing Program. Davis was 24, and at the age 24 auditioned to the biggest stars of Hollywood, Shelley Winters and Mark Rydell, as well as Martin Landau. After only one audition Davis was accepted into the famed Actors Studio as a member with privileges to work, and later was made a Lifetime Member with a single request for a callback. More than a thousand took part in auditions, making Davis only one of two accepted actors that year.
