Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's children was born in Woodland Hills, California in the year 1956. She was raised by a mother who was a housewife and a father who worked as a teacher. Michael Dennis Kevin is her three elder siblings. McCormick began performing and singing at a very young age. She won her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was then contacted through Pat Domigan, a talent agent with the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to work in the business of show production. McCormick was hired to star in her first major performance in 1964 on the tv spot for Mattels latest doll Baby Pattaburp. Later that year she did another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical Wind It up until It Breaks in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was chosen from a field of 1200 children who auditioned to be the youngest of three towheaded daughters in the upcoming TV show The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with the family of a blended couple. The show lasted for five seasons. In her memoir Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice published in 2008 McCormick revealed that during the fifth season of the show, she almost lost her virginity to her screen co-star and brother Barry Williams. In the moment, she was 16, and he was 19. It could have been as she describes. However, the timing for our relationship was not right.
